Role Description

The Marketing Coordinator will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing marketing campaigns across various platforms. This includes digital and social media management, content creation, branding strategies, and collaboration with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand alignment. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, highly organized, and passionate about storytelling and community impact. The position is based in Shafter, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans to support organizational goals.
  • Manage and grow social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.).
  • Create engaging content including blog posts, email newsletters, graphics, and videos.
  • Coordinate events and campaigns to promote services, programs, and community events.
  • Monitor marketing performance and generate reports with insights and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure brand consistency and alignment.
  • Conduct market research to stay updated on trends and competitor activities.
  • Assist with public relations efforts, including media outreach and press releases.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-3 years of marketing experience, ideally in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms, content management systems, and email marketing tools.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinking with excellent attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite, Canva) is a plus.

Base Salary: $40,000 - $60,000/y (depending on experience)
